About

I’m a painter, illustrator and muralist. Let’s create something.

Hello there.

If you’ve made it this far, you might be curious about the artist behind the work. My name is Terry McNerney. A Colorado native for six decades, my journey has taken me from primary school in Greeley to the United States Marine Corps, and eventually onto the open road.

For twenty years, I traveled the country as a caricature artist—from the vibrant streets of Mardi Gras and Miami to South Padre, San Francisco, and Pearl Street in Boulder—drawing everyone and everything. I eventually returned home to Fort Collins to graduate from CSU, and I have now practiced as a professional artist for over thirty years.

The bottom line? I have painted almost everything imaginable. From custom mailboxes to industrial-sized murals, my work is defined by color, imagination, and durability. Whether you are interested in an available 4'x 5' canvas or a bespoke commission tailored to your vision, I am ready to collaborate. No idea is too bold; I encourage you to dream. Let’s brainstorm and bring your concept to life.

Let’s get started.
